SJ CIRCUS FEST
I love attending all kinds of festivals and cultural events in the city. There is no lack of events ongoing in town all summer. We just have to follow all Covid guide lines set out by Public Health and we can still enjoy the New Normal in a fun way and staying safe. Here is a festival that I really enjoyed and look forward again next year.
It was so wonderful and very impressed to witness the 4th St. John’s International Circus Festival events held from Sept 23th to 26th at various locations around St. John’s; from opening soiree at the Emera Innovational Exchange, to events and workshops at The Rooms, Murray Premises Hotel, Alt Hotel, Sheraton Hotel, and its finale closing at the Arts and Culture Centre.
Here are some photo highlights from the Opening and workshops ongoing throughout the festival.
I had the pleasure attending many of the festival events the past week. Professional artists and performers from across Canada and around the world converged to showcase their circus acts to our NL audience during the festival. This year also marked the 40th anniversary of Ecole Nationale du Cirque!
The Edge of the World Cabaret is produced by the St. John’s International CircusFest. It is a must-see event every year. It is an event which I have never missed since year one. This year’s Cabaret was held at the Arts and Culture Centre with circus acts directed by Patrick Leonard. Here are some highlights of the amazing acts this year.

Here is a montage I took at the Cabaret show to share with you and thank you to the Festival organizers giving me permission to capture all these amazing moments.
