We Stand On Guard again Concert
In the Fall of 2022, NL was devastated with the destruction of Hurricane Fiona. It relentlessly destroyed the homes, stages, boats, and properties in the south west coast of Newfoundland. Chris Andrews of NL band Shanneyganock, and not his first time, came forward, initiated and organized to have “WE STAND ON GUARD AGAIN” fund raising concert to help fellow Newfoundlanders. On 30 Oct, 2022, the concert was played out at the Mary Browns Centre in St. John’s. Performers included: Shanneyganock with Bud Davidge, Kellie Loder, Kubasonics, Quote the Raven, Deanntha Edmunds, Tim Baker. Terra Bruce Productions, Irish Descendants, Lady Like with Jackie Sullivan, Masterless Men, Women of Rock, Billy and the Bruisers, Justin Fancy and many other local celebrities sharing the stage. The amazing event was hosted by Jonny Harris. It was amazing being there and was glad to purchase tickets to support the event with family and friends. Here are some highlights from the evening. With federal Government matching the funds raised, over 5 millions was raised with the event. Our Newfoundlanders and Labradorians came through again. THANK YOU.
