The Rooms - What a place

Wow! The Rooms is now opened for 15 years. This last week in June marks the 15th anniversary of the Rooms being opened. Most are fascinated by its architecture, both inside and out. It has become a signature landmark, not only for the City of St. John’s but for the whole of Newfoundland Labrador.

I love going to the Rooms for many reasons. I love the various exhibits in particularly, The history of the proud Newfoundlanders and Labradorians’ role in the WWI and WWII. Throughout the years, many like me have enjoyed the many events held at this amazing place. Cultural events, festivals, concerts, movies, family activities… Its Cafe is also of top notch as well. Love the amazing view from its large glass windows looking into the Narrows. Food and service are excellent . The cafe is also a perfect spot for private functions in the evening.
